Bellaire Citizens Academy

The City of Bellaire is offering its citizens the chance to learn, serve and be involved with the City through a program called the Bellaire Citizens Academy, established in 2016.

How are your streets kept safe and clean? Where do the funds for your favorite park come from? When you turn on the tap where does the water come from - and go? The City of Bellaire wants to answer these questions and more for you.

The Bellaire Citizens Academy (BCA) is a ten-week program, open to Bellaire residents, providing an in-depth look at how the City functions. BCA participants will have the opportunity to observe, ask questions, see equipment and facilities, and meet the city staff responsible for all city operations. Your participation will give you an insider's knowledge of city operations and you will be equipped with the knowledge to assume a leadership role in the community.

Bellaire is your home and we want you to know how it works. Participation is limited to twenty (20) qualified applicants and will be on a first come, first serve basis.
