Sergeant Karen Kramer graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2003 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. Sgt. Kramer began a career as a Federal Investigator working primarily with the Department of Defense conducting background investigations. She then served as a Pretrial Officer for Harris County Pretrial Services and worked directly with Harris County Probable Cause Court. Sgt. Kramer entered the police academy and graduated with academic achievement recognition in May of 2009. That same year Sgt. Kramer began her tenure with the Bellaire Police Department as a Patrol Officer. Sgt. Kramer holds a Master Peace Officer Certificate, Intermediate Accident Investigator Certification and is a FBI LEEDA Trilogy recipient.
Corporal Andre Porter started his career in public service with the United States Marine Corps (Semper Fi). After serving nine distinguished years as a Marine, Corporal Porter joined the Bellaire Police Department in May 2005.
In his tenure with the department, Cpl. Porter has served as a Special Response Team member, Field Training Officer, Advanced Accident Investigator, Physical Fitness Coordinator, Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) Instructor, Taser Instructor, and Honor Guard Team member. Corporal Porter holds an Advanced Peace Officer certification through TCOLE.
