What is a Cardboard Boat Regatta?

A cardboard boat race, also known as a cardboard boat regatta, is a race with boats and/or paddles made entirely from cardboard. Participants make their boats using only cardboard and duct tape prior to the event. Then, participants board their boats and race to the finish line!

The race will take place at the Evergreen Pool (4500 Evergreen St.).

How can I participate?

Anyone can participate- all you need is some cardboard and duct tape!  Please view the Cardboard Boat Regatta Rules & Event Guidelines 

Awards

Awards will be given to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the following categories:
- Fastest Boats (must finish race)
- Most Dramatic Sinking
- Most Creative Design
- Best Costume
