As of Monday, October 5 the Recreation Center will open with limited hours and programming.
As of Monday, October 5 the Recreation Center Fitness Room will be open for use in a limited capacity. Up to 4 patrons at a time may use the fitness room in 50-minute time blocks, followed by a 10 minute cleaning regimen. The fitness room is free for patrons with a valid Recreation Membership, or $10 per day for drop-in guests. Patrons will be able to reserve their time block up to two days in advance either online or by calling the Recreation Center front desk at 713-662-8280.
All patrons must wear gloves at all times, and must wear a mask while entering and exiting the facility but may remove their mask while in the fitness room. For additional information, please refer to this guide or give us a call at 713-662-8280.
As of Monday, October 5 some limited fitness programming will be returning to the Bellaire Recreation Center. For additional details on which programs are available, please call the Recreation Center front desk at 713-662-8280.
Until further notice, there is no Open Gym at the Bellaire Recreation Center. We will be re-evaluating when to allow open gym every week.
Starting on Monday, January 4 the new indoor pickleball hours will be:
Monday - Friday
8:00am - 9:45am
10:00am - 11:45am
12:00pm - 1:45pm
All players must bring their own paddles and balls. There will be a limit of 4 players per court, with 2 courts available for each time slot.
Indoor pickleball is free for patrons with a valid Recreation Membership, or $10 per day for drop-in guests.

Proof of Residency
You must show proof of Bellaire Residency to purchase a Resident Recreation Membership. Please bring a valid driver’s license and a current utility bill with you at the time of purchase.
A guest is considered a Visitor to the Bellaire/Houston area and must pay the Visitor Pass Fee to use the Recreation Center. A current member must accompany a guest.
A visitor day pass costs $10.
