The Bellaire Community Events Calendar provides residents with an easy way to find out what's happening within the city. Your organization must be considered a City of Bellaire Community Partner and the event must take place in Bellaire and be open to the public to be posted on the City's Community Events Calendar.

Click the Submit an Event button below and fill out the fields in order to submit your events for listing in our online calendar. Please note: Your event will not automatically be added to the calendar once you click "Submit Event" at the bottom of the form. It will first go through an approval process to make sure that it contains all the information needed to be added. You will be notified if your event can not be approved.

2022 “Bookish" Transformational Book Art Contest

The Friends of the Bellaire Library, a volunteer organization whose sole purpose is to support the Bellaire City Library, is pleased to announce the 2022 “Bookish" Transformational Book Art Contest. From now through October 22, 2022 at 11 a.m., you are invited to transform an old book designated for recycling into a piece of art! The theme for this transformational literary contest is “Bookish”. Contest entrants should be creative and use any medium to create their entry; however, no copyrighted cartoon characters or images or three dimensional (3D) elements may be used. Entry forms are available here: https://www.fotbl.org/bookish/ or at the Bellaire City Library - just ask library staff for an entry form. Contest Submissions are due by Saturday, October 22 at 11 am. Contest winners will be notified after October 22nd and will be honored October 29, 2022, at 11:00 am at the Library.
