FY 2019 Proposed Budget

The FY 2019 proposed budget was presented to City Council on July 16, 2018. This next fiscal year will bring an emphasis on funding projects and studies related to drainage within the City. The next steps in the budget review process will include a public hearing, City Council workshops and the adoption of the proposed budget in September of this year. Jessamine Closed Near Library

Jessamine Street, between Fifth Street and South Rice Avenue, will be closed from Tuesday, July 31 - Tuesday, August 21. This closure is related to construction of the new police/court building. Eastbound and westbound traffic in front of the Bellaire City Library will be impacted. Parking will be limited. Library visitors may park in the lot between the library and the fire station. Safe dedicated pedestrian paths will be maintained throughout the duration of the street closure and the library will remain open.

Party at the Pavilion August 3

Join us this month as we have a Party at the Pavilion in Bellaire Town Square on Friday, August 3. This free concert features the big, bold sound of the Houston Brass Band. A food truck will be parked next to the Bellaire Recreation Center during the performance. The event begins at 7 pm so don't be late. Bring your family and friends for a fun time!
