FY 2020 Proposed Budget Process

The City Manager's Fiscal Year 2020 Proposed Budget was presented to City Council on July 15.  The Fiscal Year 2020 begins October 1, 2019.

The next step in the budget process will be a public hearing on August 12 at 6 pm at Bellaire City Hall located at 7008 South Rice Avenue.

Election Season Begins in Bellaire

On November 5, the City of Bellaire will hold a General Election to elect a Mayor and three Council Members for positions Two, Four and Six. The deadline to file an application to run for Bellaire City Council is August 19.

Trash Bags

Trash Bag Delivery Dates

The City of Bellaire is revising the delivery schedule for trash bags in August.  All trash bags will be delivered to residents the weekend of August 10 and 11. Additional rolls of bags may be purchased for $5.95 per roll at Bellaire City Hall in the Utility Billing office located at 7008 South Rice Avenue.

Party at the Pavilion and
Dive-In Movie

The next Party at the Pavilion will be August 2 from 7-9 pm in Bellaire Town Square located at 7008 South Rice Avenue.  This free concert features the soulful sounds of the Bourbon Street Experience and the Foreign Policy food truck.  Bring your friends and neighbors for this fun evening out in the park!

Then catch the Dive-In Movie on August 9 at the Bellaire Town Square Family Aquatic Center.  Join us to watch the aquatic adventures of Aquaman as you float on pool noodles and enjoy food from local vendors and sponsors.
