Holiday in the Park

Join us for Holiday in the Park on Thursday, December 5, at 6 pm in Bellaire Town Square (7008 South Rice Avenue).  Santa officially arrives to kick off the holiday season in Bellaire. Kids can meet and take pictures with Santa. Enjoy performances by the local schools, 20,000 pounds of snow brought in from the North Pole, pony rides, food, and FUN!

City Hall Parking Information - Parking will be available along South Rice Avenue for Bellaire City Hall patrons until 5:00 pm on Thursday, December 5.  ADA accessible parking will be available in the Bellaire City Hall parking lot until 2 pm and on South Rice Avenue just north of Bellaire City Hall until 5 pm Thursday, December 5. Additional parking is available on Jessamine Street and Fifth Street.

Joint Runoff Election

An Order of Election has been posted and published for the City of Bellaire Joint Runoff Election to be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.  This election will be held for the purpose of electing two Council Members for Position Nos. 4 and 6. 

Early voting will

Trash Bags

Trash Bag Delivery

The City of Bellaire is revising the delivery schedule for trash bags this month.  All trash bags will be delivered to residents on the weekend of December 7 and 8. Additional bags may be purchased for $5.95 per roll at Bellaire City Hall in the Utility Billing office located at 7008 South Rice Avenue.

Santa Sightings

Sources from the North Pole are predicting that Santa will be back in Bellaire one more time before Christmas. The happy elves have reported that he will be riding atop a fire truck on your street to wave hello and wish you all good cheer.

Be on the lookout for Santa on these dates between 6 and 8:30 pm:

December 16          South of Bellaire Blvd./East of 610

December 17          South of Bellaire Blvd./West of 610
December 18          North of Bellaire Blvd./West of 610

Recycle Tree

Christmas Tree Recycling

The Christmas tree recycling program will be available to residents from December 26, 2019, until January 12, 2020. During this time, trees may be dropped off at the designated collection area located at the southeast corner of Baldwin Avenue and Edith Street.  Place your tree in the parking lot near the tree recycling sign.  Please remove all ornaments, tinsel, tree stands, and lights before you recycle.  Flocked trees will not be recycled.
