RFP No. 23-005 will consist of services to evaluate over 800 fire hydrants throughout the City of Bellaire and replace poorly functioning or nonfunctional hydrants as needed. The selected Respondent will be responsible for evaluating all fire hydrants and replacing hydrants as directed by City staff. Initially, the work will be focused on replacing fire hydrants and hydrant valves prioritized by the City. After this initial list of poorly functioning or nonfunctional hydrants are repaired or replaced, the City will direct the Respondent to begin evaluating hydrants to identify if other hydrants need to be repaired or replaced.
