This week we spotlight Linda Barbour, our dedicated Code Compliance Officer in Development Services.
Since 2006, Linda has been a steady hand ensuring our community stays safe, clean, and in compliance. From tackling citizen concerns with a balanced, professional approach to leading our fats, oils, and grease (FOG) program, Linda keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes. And soon, she’ll take on enforcement of the new short-term rental ordinance going into effect in Spring 2026.
Code compliance isn’t easy, but Linda wears every hat with confidence and care. We’re grateful for all she does for the City of Bellaire!
