Voting Information in Bellaire

The City of Bellaire will hold a Special Election on November 3, 2020, for the purpose of submitting to the voters for approval or disapproval three propositions to amend the City Charter.  Please click on the link below to review the sample ballot.  The last day to apply for a ballot by mail is October 23, 2020.

Early voting will begin on Tuesday, October 13, 2020.  The closed branch early voting polling place is Bayland Park Community Center, 6400 Bissonnet Street, Houston, Texas 77074.

On Election Day, November 3, 2020, the voting hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.  Voters may vote at any of The Harris County Election Day Countywide Voting Centers.  The centers located in the City of Bellaire are as follows:

The Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center will be on location in front of City Hall with a Donor Coach on 15 from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM each day.  The blood drive is open to City of Bellaire employees and the public.  Appointments are required and must be scheduled in advance. COVID-19 precautions will be strictly followed.  COVID-19 antibody testing is included in the blood donation process, and plasma donations will also be accepted.

Boo Drive Trough

BOO Drive-Thru!

In place of the annual Pumpkin Hunt, Bellaire Parks and Recreation has created the BOO Drive-Thru!  Join us for a COVID-19 friendly event that will allow the participants to drive through the Bellaire Recreation Center parking lot to look at the decorative booths and receive a Halloween goodie bag. All staff will be wearing gloves and masks. The goodie bags will have candy and be distributed until supplies last. Participants are encouraged to dress up in costume but are asked to remain in their vehicles at all times during the event. 

The event is free and will begin at 4:00 pm until supplies run out. This is a drive-thru event only. It is open to kids of all ages but targeted to those under 10.  For more information, please call 713-662-8280.
