Telephonic State of the City
Monday, February 1, 2021


Bellaire City Council will hold the Annual State of the City on Monday, February 1, 2021, at 7:00 p.m.  This is a telephonic meeting.  If you wish to dial-in, the toll-free number is 1-888-475-4499, Meeting ID 884 8840 8460.  Instructions are available on page 2 of the agenda packet for those residents or public members who would like to address the City Council during this telephonic meeting. Please note that these requests to speak must be received before the start of the meeting.

COVID-19 Vaccine Information



We understand the increased interest in receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.  While the City of Bellaire is prepared and approved as a vaccination administration location, we have not yet received a vaccine allocation notice.  Until the time comes for the City to receive vaccines for distribution to the public, we will provide information to help you find a location to receive the vaccine.


Please check the Harris County Public Health website for access to local vaccine provider location information.

The City of Houston has been receiving shipments for administration to the public, but we cannot confirm whether they have any residency requirements.  Please check with the City of Houston directly for more information.

Tree Recycling

Christmas Tree Recycling


The Christmas tree recycling program is available to residents until January 15, 2021. During this time, trees may be dropped off at the designated collection area located at the southeast corner of Baldwin Avenue and Edith Street. Place your tree in the parking lot near the tree recycling sign. Please remove all ornaments, tinsel, tree stands, and lights before you recycle. Flocked trees will not be accepted.

MLK Jr. Day

Martin Luther King Jr. Day Holiday - January 18, 2021
City Offices Closed
No Solid Waste Services


In recognition of the Martin Luther King Jr. Day Holiday, all City Offices, including the Library and Recreation Center, will be closed and there will be no solid waste collection services on Monday, January 18, 2021. Please note the following changes to the solid waste pickup schedule:

  • Areas A, B, & E solid waste collection will resume on Thursday, January 21, 2021
  • Area D limbs and brush collection will resume on Wednesday, January 20, 2021
