2021 Hurricane Season

The City of Bellaire is prepared for the 2021 hurricane season. We are hoping you are taking steps to protect yourself and your family.  The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1 through November 30 each year. The hurricane season does not historically heat up for Southeast Texas until August or September, but we have seen some storm developments already this season. Now is the time to prepare!

The City of Bellaire typically hosts an annual Hurricane Preparedness meeting with presentations by the Emergency Management Coordinator, Fire Chief Deacon Tittel.  This year, we have created a Hurricane Preparedness information webpage. This page contains videos that the City has created that cover the information typically presented in the meeting. These videos and much more can be found on the City's website. Please go to https://bellairetx.gov/1670/Hurricane-Preparedness.
