The purpose of the 2017 Citizen Survey was to assess public satisfaction with the quality of City services, gather input about the community’s priorities, and establish a baseline to help the City better understand how satisfaction levels can change over time. In addition, the survey also gathered useful information about the community as a whole and Bellaire residents’ perception of the community and surrounding areas.
The multiple-choice survey asked citizens to rate quality of life aspects such as Bellaire as a place to live and visit in addition to characteristics such as the overall appearance of Bellaire and its availability of paths and walking trails. There were questions asking citizens how often they do certain activities such as visit a park or report a crime. Plus, there were questions asking citizens to rate various city services.
