About Our Pound
The Bellaire Pound is located at 4300 Edith across from the Officer Lucy Dog Park. The pound is not staffed; please do not go to the pound to inquire about lost pets. Instead call 713.668.0487.
The pound is of basic construction with covered indoor and outdoor pens for housing up to five dogs. Hot and cold water is available at the facility as is a fenced-in exercise area.
In Fiscal Year 2021 perimeter trees that damaged the fencing were removed and a new perimeter fence with privacy slats was installed.
