Park Rentals

Overview

The Great Lawn, Pavilion, and Gazebo at Bellaire-Zindler Park can be rented for festivals, performances, and other outdoor events. This space is located by Bellaire City Hall, 7008 South Rice Avenue, Bellaire, TX 77401.

Picnic tables can be rented at Loftin Park for birthday parties and smaller events. Loftin Park is located next to the Recreation Center and Bellaire Family Aquatic Center at 7008 Fifth Street, Bellaire, TX 77401. Picnic tables at all other parks are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Event Lawn, Pavilion, & Gazebo

  • Rentals must be a minimum of 2 hours. 
  • Tables and chairs are not included with rentals. 
  • Electrical access is available around the lawn.
  • Events may require additional permits, insurance, or security (see below).
  • Bounce houses must have vendor insurance listing the City of Bellaire as additional insured. 
  • All regular park rules and curfews apply.

Rental Fees

A minimum of two (2) hours is required for all outdoor facility rentals. Rental time must include set-up, clean-up, and any equipment drop-off/pickup.

*Security deposits are refundable if no damages or penalties are incurred. Security deposits are not applied toward the rental fee.

Reservations

Rental requests must be submitted a minimum of one (1) month in advance but no more than twelve (12) months prior to the reservation date requested. All facility reservations have a minimum 2-hour reservation requirement. All regular park curfews apply. Facilities may not be reserved on holidays or holiday weekends.

To reserve the pavilion, lawn, gazebo, or picnic table, submit an online rental request form*.

Deposit

A deposit and signed permit application are required to make a reservation. The total fee must be paid in full by cash, check, or credit card two weeks before rental.

Bounce Houses

Bounce houses must have vendor insurance listing the City of Bellaire as additional insured. Additional fees apply for electricity access.

Special Events

A special event permit may be required if the rental meets one or more of the following criteria: 

  • Open to the public
  • Has 50 or more people in attendance
  • Has alcohol

Additional permits, security, or documentation may be required at the renter’s expense to issue a special event permit. 

Alcohol

Under the City Code of Ordinances, alcohol use in public parks is prohibited.

Non-Profits & Organizations

Rental rates are discounted for non-profits and organizations in Bellaire. Groups must have 501(c)(3) status and a two-thirds majority of Bellaire Residents. Please contact the Bellaire Parks and Recreation for more information.

Tables and Chairs

Tables and chairs are not included with outdoor rentals. Tables and chairs must be rented through an outside vendor, not the City of Bellaire.
