Overview

The CenterPoint Energy Community Center is a carpeted space that is great for meetings, receptions, exhibits, shows, demonstrations, and banquets. It features a kitchenette with a microwave, refrigerator, small ice maker, sink, and countertops. 

60-inch round tables and chairs are included in the price of the rental. All other tables and chairs must be rented through an outside vendor, not the City of Bellaire.

Rental Fees

There is a 3-hour minimum for all indoor facility rentals. Rental time must include set-up, clean-up, and any equipment drop-off/pickup.

Reservations

Rental requests must be submitted a minimum of one month in advance but no more than six months prior to the reservation date requested. All facility reservations have a minimum 3-hour reservation requirement.

Facilities are reservable for the following times, subject to staffing and facility availability: Weekdays (Sun-Thurs) from 7:00am-10:00pm and Weekends (Fri-Sat) from 7:00am-midnight

Deposit

Deposit and signed permit application are required to make a reservation. Total fee must be paid in full by cash, check, or credit card two weeks before rental.

Special Events

A special event permit may be required if the rental meets one or more of the following criteria: 

  • Open to the public
  • Has 50 or more people in attendance
  • Has alcohol

Additional permits, security, or documentation may be required at the renter’s expense to issue a special event permit.

Non-Profits & Organizations

Rental rates are discounted for non-profits and organizations in Bellaire. Groups must have a 501C3 status and have a two thirds majority of Bellaire Residents. Please contact the Bellaire Parks and Recreation for more information.

Tables and Chairs

Tables and chairs are included in the rental price, subject to what is available in the specific room. All other tables and chairs must be rented through an outside vendor, not the City of Bellaire.
